The inaugural Kirksville Newman Alumni Reunion will be held open-house-style on Saturday, April 29 from noon-4pm in Columbia, Missouri! Please RSVP below and join us for a great gathering of friends. Spouses, significant others, and families are welcome!
We will have a potluck meal at 12:30 p.m. Please plan to bring a dish to share. If you are unable to bring a dish, we ask that you kindly contribute $10 (which you can do below) so the KNAA Board can make sure we have enough food for everyone. Please be sure to tell us what dish you are planning to bring. We will have the grill running for burgers, brats, and hot dogs!
We will be gathering at the house of alumna, JoAnn (Jorgovan) Shull ('07) at 605 Quick Sand Circle, Columbia, MO 65202. Her home is two minutes north of Hwy 70 in Columbia. There is plenty of street parking. Depending on the weather, a fenced-in backyard is available for gathering and for kids to play. Please bring a folding chair or lawn chair.
The reunion will continue until 4pm. If you would like to attend Mass with other alumni, there is a 4:30 vigil mass at Sacred Heart and 5:00 p.m. masses at both the St. Thomas More Newman Center and Our Lady of Lourdes (all less than 10 minutes from the reunion).
We are also planning on having a raffle basket with some great prizes from Truman and Newman! Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event for $2 each or three for $5.
Below you also have the option to join the Kirksville Newman Alumni Association. A small portion of the dues supports the work of the association (like this reunion) while the rest supports the operating budget of the Newman Center.
Please share with your friends! We look forward to seeing you on April 29!
